We primarily use STEP steel for Bauer skates. STEP steel is manufactured by a Canadian company with 50 years of blade manufacturing experience. They use the highest quality materials and have mastered a proprietary process that delivers the best replacement steel on the market.
Fits same as original steel. Will fit any Bauer ice skate with a 2006-2007 Tuuk Lightspeed II Power holder (the clear-blue holder). This steel is superior to stock Bauer steel. It holds edges longer and is less likely to break. STEP steel has 10% more additional height that can withstand more sharpenings for increased blade life. Senior and junior sizes. Price is per runner and includes initial sharpening. Be sure to update quantity to 2 when in shopping cart to order a complete pair. Note: Because of the poor design of the LSPower Holders, steel tends to break where the bolt attaches at the runner. This is common and one of the reasons the LSPower (Clear Blue) holder was discontinued. As such, we can not warranty any steel used in these holders.
